The AEAUSA awards ceremony has been held annually since 2015 in New Jersey with 30 awards being presented to various artists across the continent for their hardwork.

Two of the biggest dancehall artists in Ghana, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy each won an award while Sauti Sol were crowned as the Hottest Group in the continent beating.
