Android 11 Go Edition: Check Out The Features And How To Download It
You can now download the Android 11 Go edition if you have a compatible smartphone, giving you access to Google’s new operating system straight away.
Android Go, officially Android Go Edition, is a stripped-down version of Android distribution designed for low-end and ultra-budget smartphones, first made available for Android Oreo.
It is intended for smartphones with 2 GB of RAM or less.
According to a report by The Verge, Android users should not necessarily expect to upgrade their existing 2GB phone to the Android 11 Go edition since it’s only going to come out with new phones with that much memory.
Google also added in the report that it’s up to OEMs whether they want to put Android 11 Go on a device instead of Android 10 Go, contradicting what was suggested in a document obtained by XDA Developers back in July.
Features Of Android 11 Go Edition
1. Android (Go edition) is the best of Android—running lighter and saving data.
2. Apps startup 15% faster when you run Android (Go edition) on an entry-level smartphone.
3. With up to 270 MB extra memory, users can run more apps and games at the same time.
4. Up to 900 MB of additional storage means room for more photos, videos, and apps. Choose from over 2 million apps in Google Play.
