A lady named Boahemaa has come forward with allegations that former Black Stars defender, John Paintsil, owes her money and has been refusing to repay her.
According to Boahemaa, she willingly provided assistance to the former footballer whenever he reached out to her, without any regrets.
However, two years ago, John allegedly borrowed an amount of Ghc15k from her, and despite her persistent efforts, she has been unable to retrieve her money.
Boahemaa had chosen to remain silent about the issue until John Paintsil recently commented on one of her Instagram posts, prompting her to expose him.
She claims that John no longer responds to her texts or answers her calls, leaving her to wonder why he would intentionally engage with her on social media while avoiding his financial obligations.
In her post, she publicly addresses John Paintsil, urging him to respect himself and fulfill his obligation by repaying the debt. She emphasizes that she does not wish to disrespect him but expects him to do what is necessary.
Her post reads: “@john_painstil_official when are you paying my money? You can’t be owing me for almost two years now, be ignoring my calls & texts and decide to comment on my post. Respect yourself and do the needful. i don’t want to disrespect you”.

After her revelation, some netizens criticized Boahemaa, accusing her of trying to gain fame by capitalizing on the footballer’s reputation.
However, it seems that her intentions were genuine, as she has now shared screenshots of her WhatsApp conversations with John Paintsil to support her claim that he owes her money.
In the conversation, it is evident that Boahemaa was in communication with someone identified as John Paintsil, inquiring about the money she had given to him.
Throughout the chat, John Paintsil repeatedly postponed the payment, making excuses for the delay. He even sent her a voice note explaining the reasons behind his failure to fulfill his promise of repayment.
These screenshots serve as evidence that Boahemaa’s allegations against the footballer are true and demonstrate her sincerity in addressing the issue.
