Manchester United midfielder, Donny van de Beek was once again left as an unused substitute in Manchester United’s embarrassing 5-0 defeat to fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Donny van de Beek has had a rough start to life at Manchester United as the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjær does not fancy him ahead of the likes of Fred, McTominay, and Bruno Fernandes.
With Ole currently under pressure, Donny van de Beek’s future is still hanging in the air. However, our sources say the dutch player could leave in January if Ole Gunnar Solskjær stays at Manchester United.
According to Fabrizio Romano in his Twitch live broadcast a few minutes ago, Donny van de Beek will stay and fight for his place in the team if Ole Gunnar Solskjær is sacked before the January transfer window as the board meets today to discuss Ole’s future.
The Dutchman has only played six minutes of Premier League football this season and even that was arguably given as a token gesture by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the 4-1 win against Newcastle.
The 24-year-old has seen Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Fred, and Scott McTominay all feature in the last three games, whilst he sits there wondering if and when his next chance to impress will ever come.
