The Ghanaian social media space has been agog in the past few days over the recent rap beef between two of the fastest-rising Ghanaian rappers Amerado and Obibini.
Amerado’s freestyle on Tim Westwood TV started the beef when he mentioned “Wudini” a slogan that Obibini uses. During an interview on TV3, Amerado was asked about the jab and he denied dissing Obibini.
The rap line and interview triggered Obibini to hit the studio to drop a diss track for Amerado. He titles it “Deceased” and went hard on Amerado, telling him that he is a culture vulture forcing himself on the Kumerican wave to trend.

Well, the tantrums between the two rappers have caught the attention of embattled Ghanaian businessman and Zylofon Music honcho, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1. In a tweet, NAM1 praised Obibini for his bars and declared that there might be a big concert from the rapper soon.
Meanwhile, NAM1 has been charged with abetment of crime, defrauding by false pretences, carrying on a deposit-taking business without a licence, sale of minerals without a licence, unlawful deposit-taking, and money laundering. It is alleged that the accused had taken various sums of money, totalling GH¢1.6 billion from customers.
