Nana Ama McBrown And David Dontoh Featured In American Movie ‘Coming To Africa’

Parts of the romantic comedy movie were shot in Accra last year during the Year of Return celebrations and Nana Ama McBrown played the role of Akosua in the movie.

David Dontoh and Nana Ama McBrown have been featured in an American movie.

The veteran Ghanaian actors have been featured in the yet to be released American movie titled ‘Coming to Africa’ written and directed by American filmmaker Anwar Jamison.

Parts of the romantic comedy movie were shot in Accra last year during the Year of Return celebrations and Nana Ama McBrown played the role of Akosua in the movie.

The movie was initially scheduled to be released earlier this year but due to the impact of the COVID19 and its restrictions around the world, it had to be rescheduled to October this year.

The romantic comedy is woven around a Black American man (Jamison) who lives in his comfort zone and refuses to criticize any social ills for the fear of upsetting his privileged life.

The movie has been selected for screening at the 23rd Annual Indie Memphis Film Festival down on the Mighty Mississippi River, Friday, October 23, 2020.
