Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor played against some of the best defenders on the African continent but has picked former Asante Kotoko defender Daniel Koffie Acquah as his toughest ever opponent.

Osei Kuffuor was arguably one of the best players on the local scene during his playing days, and always attracts attention from defenders anytime he was on the pitch.

The one player that really gave me a tough time was Dan Acquah. He was like a dumb man on the pitch, he hardly talks but follows you anywhere on the pitch and intercepts any ball I will receive.

I never liked it whenever he was playing in games involving Hearts and Kotoko because he disturbs me, he makes me confuse and at the end spoil my plans so the only thing I do is to fight him on the pitch.

Acquah is a center-back who joined Asante Kotoko from Real Tamale United (RTU) in 2000 and is one of the longest-serving players to have played for the Porcupines and earned himself the title ‘Paasi’ for his outstanding performances during his stint at the Baba Yara Stadium.
