Killaboi, a Nigerian socialite, has made a chilling confession on Instagram, admitting to the murder of his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion (known as Austa XXO). He claimed that his actions were driven by pain, betrayal, and cheating in their relationship.
This shocking revelation has sparked discussions on Twitter, highlighting the devastating consequences of such emotions within relationships. On July 17, 2023, Killaboi took to his Instagram page to disclose the tragic incident, explaining that he unintentionally stabbed his girlfriend during a heated argument.
Expressing deep remorse and guilt, the 26-year-old socialite cited his emotions and feelings of betrayal as factors leading to his actions. Despite his young age, he vowed to turn himself in and ensure justice is served for his late girlfriend.
After committing the crime, Killaboi fled the scene, and Austa XXO’s mother visited his residence at Oral Estate in the Ikota area of Lagos State in search of answers. Witnesses reported that the police discovered Austa XXO’s mutilated body in Killaboi’s apartment, with shocking parts missing, including her breast, vagina, and eyes. Her car was also found at the scene.
The incident has left many shaken and raises awareness about the importance of addressing emotional issues and seeking non-violent resolutions in relationships.
Killaboi’s initial arrest over fraud
Prior to this incident, Killaboi was arrested for fraud.
In 2021, he was apprehended by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for carrying out a N150 million point-of-sale (POS) transaction using a stolen card. The authorities arrested him at a hotel in Umuahia, and he was unable to evade capture.
