Prayers Kill More People In Nigeria Than Mosquitoes – Jim Iyke
eople pray for various reasons but does prayers solve everything?
That’s one question most people fail to answer and people now ‘abuse prayers’ to the extent that they believe they should rather pray for healing when they should have gone to hospital for treatment.
Many have died due to this and according to Nigerian actor, Jim Iyke, prayers kill more people in Nigeria than even mosquitoes. He made this known in a movie titled ‘A Star In Heaven’ released in 2017.
So I downloaded this movie yesterday and picked up this interesting scene where Jim Iyke was approached for help by a needy white man and after helping him with money, the white man asked if he could pray for him.
Jim who was known in the movie as Kayode refused, giving reasons that God doesn’t exist, he also added that prayers kill more people in Nigeria than mosquitoes.

A STAR IN HEAVEN is a Nigerian/American casted drama/thriller whose subject whose central subject is STARGATE, a multi-million dollar ICT software developed by Kayode Ajeshifini (Jim Iyke) which was stolen by the American company that employed him but being an illegal immigrant he could not fight back. Mary (Belinda Effah) is a crooked and cantankerous wife.
She helped Kayode into the USA with forged documents and is prepared to also protect him from deportation after his illegal status was exposed. Kayode dramatically meets Zainad (Deborah Taribo-West) who turned out to be A STAR IN HEAVEN as she guides him to a spiritual journey to self-discovery.
This is an intriguing film where racism also takes center stage and I would highly recommend it to everyone to watch.
