Shatta Capo Reacts To Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy Fight + His Son Being Detained In Police Custody
Father of Shatta Wale is opening another questionable defense to his son’s misbehavior at the Vodafone Music awards which took place over the weekend. Shatta Capo has defended his son saying that Shatta Wale’s attempt to walk up stage was to relocate to the VVIP where he was seated.
“He was not going to cause any disturbance or attack anybody. We were speaking together on the phone. He indicated he would soon relocate to my place. So he informed me that he wanted to observe how things were going on in the auditorium,” Shatta Capo said in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s high-flying entertainment show Day Break Hitz monitored by Buzzslate.com.
The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) was thrown into a state of confusion and pandemonium when Shatta Wale and his group of supporters decided to walk up stage where Stonebwoy was being presented with dancehall/reggae artist of the year award. In the ensuing melee, Stonebwoy had to pull out a gun. The programme was interrupted for close to an hour before it continued.
Shatta Wale’s father who was speaking from the police station where his son is being held, said they were doing everything in conjunction with lawyers to get bail for him. Stonebwoy is also being held by the police for apparently brandishing a gun and any part he might have played in the whole commotion that marred this year’s VGMAs.
