‘Thank You Very Much For Making Me See Our Son’ – An Emotional Shatta Wale Tells Michy
Award-winning dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale could not hide his joy when he saw his son Majesty for the first time in 9-months whiles celebrating his birthday yesterday.
Taking to his Snapchat handle, Shatta Wale shared some videos of himself and Majesty who was looking all grown up depicting how much he has missed him.
He subsequently thanked Michy for making his birthday a perfect one by bringing Majesty to him. He said that notwithstanding, he won’t get back with Michy over her king gesture.
Shatta Wale clocked 35-years yesterday October 17. He received several messages from his fans, celebrities and family members.
Having achieved street credibility in a fairly undeveloped Ghanaian dancehall genre at the time, he achieved popularity with his 2004 single, “Moko Hoo”, which features Tinny.
Then known in the industry as Bandana, the song earned him a Ghana Music Awards nomination. There afterwards, Bandana went missing in the music circus for nearly a decade until rebranding himself in 2013. He began releasing music under a new name, Shatta Wale, under his own record label (SM For Lyf Records).
