VGMA Board Strips Shatta Wale & Stonebwoy Off Their VGMA Awards
The Vodafone Ghana Music Award board have indefinitely banned Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy for their roles in the infamous brawl that took place at the recently held VGMA awards.
In a press briefing, the CEO of Charter House and other board members agreed that the two should not be part of future awards whilst the awards they both won on the night are now invalid.
Charterhouse, Organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards during their press conference inside Alisa hotel to announce the final two category winners “Most Popular Song Of The Year’ & “Artist Of the year” and as well explaining the build up to the event and all that went into it prior to the main event as well as the incident on the #Vgma20 night plus the way forward also came to strip them off the awards won at the just ended awards ceremony.
The pair were asked to return the awards they on the night to Chart House plus the Most Popular song of the Year and Artiste of the Year Categories have also been nullified for this year which means Ebony is still the reigning artiste of the year.
