A married woman, aged 35, had a frightening experience when her finger was almost severed after buying a replacement wedding ring from a friend.
Faustina Richster had lost her original ring a few months ago and sought a new one from her friend who sells rings.
However, after wearing the ring, her finger started to swell, and all attempts to remove it failed.
It required the assistance of medical professionals from Kasoa Mother and Child Hospital, as well as the intervention of pastors, to successfully remove the ring.
