VIDEO: Alleged Gay Man Attacked At Sowutuom, Stabbed More Than Six Times

A video circulating on Twitter has captured a disturbing incident that took place in Sowutuom, Accra, where a young man was violently attacked and beaten.

The incident reportedly occurred a few days ago and involved an unidentified group assaulting the man, who is said to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It is alleged that he was lured through a dating app.

In the distressing footage, the attack unfolds in front of the Race Course medical center, while onlookers seemingly ignore the victim’s cries for help.

Bystanders allegedly refrained from intervening, citing the victim’s sexual orientation as the reason for their inaction, suggesting that he intentionally went to the area for a sexual encounter.

The victim can be heard pleading for assistance and questioning why the police are not coming to his aid, to which one person behind the camera responds, “He is gay.”

According to an eyewitness account reported by rainbowradioonline.com, the victim was stabbed multiple times by his attackers, with more than six wounds inflicted during the assault.
