Ghanaian musicians Gyakie and Kelvyn Boy set the tone at Liverpool AXA Training Centre as their hit songs echoed during the club’s first pre-season training session.
The tracks “My mind dey for you” by Gyakie and “Down Flat” by Kelvyn Boy, which have amassed millions of streams online, were featured on the playlist that played in the Liverpool gym at the AXA Training Centre as the team geared up for their pre-season tour.
Gyakie and Kelvyn Boy are among Ghana’s rising stars in the music industry, known for their chart-topping hits that have propelled them to fame.
Liverpool commenced their pre-season training with a group of 14 players, including recent signings Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.
The training session included notable players such as captain Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, Caoimhin Kelleher, Ibrahima Konate, Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah, Kostas Tsimikas, and Virgil van Dijk.
The Reds have lined up five pre-season friendlies, including matches against Karlsruher SC and Greuther Furth in Germany. They will also travel to Singapore to face European giants Bayern Munich and Leicester City. Upon their return to the UK, they will play SV Darmstadt 98 at Deepdale.
